Britian Whitley
Owner | Master Electrician
Britian began his electrical journey in 2004, working with Tesla Electric. In 2005, he began his dream job and was hired working as a fire fighter for the City of Sandpoint. Britian finished his apprenticeship with Fogg Electric and continued working full-time as a Fireman. To make 2020 more of an interesting year, Britian became a Master Electrician and opened Backcountry Electric .
Allison Whitley
Owner | Administration
Allison works in the background at BCE, she assists with billing and job appointments, along with bookkeeping & delivering parts to job-sites, Allison is an EWU college grad that enjoys hiking, running, & snow skiing. Allison is mom to two little ones, Sawyer and Rocco, and dog-mom to their silver lab, Blue.
Administration
Originally from the east coast, Rose moved to the PNW in 2014 to pursue a career in large-scale hospitality management. She moved to Sandpoint in 2025 with her husband and daughter to be near family and spend more time together. When she's not manning the phones at BCE, you can find her outside or cheering on her favorite Seattle sports teams with her family.
Dustin Meyer
Journeyman Electrician
Dustin is a devoted husband to Ellise and proud father to Lily and Adam, family is at the center of his life. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and making the most of life with his family. A lifelong love of sports has shaped his competitive spirit and taught him the value of teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and leadership, principles he carries into both his personal and professional life.
Trif
Journeyman Electrician
Originally from Puget Sound, Trif is a journeyman electrician who was drawn to Sandpoint in 2019 by the sense of community and easy access to the outdoors. Off the clock, you'll find him cheering on his two kids at Sandpoint Striker soccer games, riding the local mountain bike trails, or skiing at Schweitzer in the winter.
Liv
Electrician Apprentice
Olivia is from Bonners Ferry Idaho, grew up in a construction family. This background sparked her interest in pursuing a career in the trades from an early age. When she's not working, Liv enjoys skiing, spending time with friends, or roughing it on the back roads of north Idaho
Electrician Apprentice
Kyle has a background in the trades and is working hard towards being a journeyman. Kvle is happiest outdoors hunting and fishing spending time with his wife, Ellie and dog. Hoyt.
Ali Quinn
Electrician Apprentice
Born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho, Ali Quinn is a first-year apprentice focused on learning the trade and building a strong foundation for a hands-on career. Outside of work, Ali enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and spending time outdoors with two loyal dogs. A lifelong connection to North Idaho has shaped Ali’s active lifestyle and appreciation for the community and landscape they call home.
