Britian Whitley
Owner | Master Electrician
Britian began his electrical journey in 2004, working with Tesla Electric. In 2005, he began his dream job and was hired working as a fire fighter for the City of Sandpoint. Britian finished his apprenticeship with Fogg Electric and continued working full-time as a Fireman. To make 2020 more of an interesting year, Britian became a Master Electrician and opened Backcountry Electric .
Allison Whitley
Owner | Administration
Allison works in the background at BCE, she assists with billing and job appointments, along with bookkeeping & delivering parts to job-sites, Allison is an EWU college grad that enjoys hiking, running, & snow skiing. Allison is mom to two little ones, Sawyer and Rocco, and dog-mom to their silver lab, Blue.
Liv
Electrician Apprentice
Olivia is from Bonners Ferry Idaho, grew up in a construction family. This background sparked her interest in pursuing a career in the trades from an early age. When she's not working, Liv enjoys skiing, spending time with friends, or roughing it on the back roads of north Idaho
Kyle
Electrician Apprentice
Kyle has a background in the trades and working hard towards being a journeyman. Kyle is happiest outdoors hunting and fishing spending time with his wife, Ellie and dog, Hoyt.
Rose
Administration
Originally from the east coast, Rose moved to the PNW in 2014 to pursue a career in large-scale hospitality management. She moved to Sandpoint in 2025 with her husband and daughter to be near family and spend more time together. When she's not manning the phones at BCE, you can find her outside or cheering on her favorite Seattle sports teams with her family.

Ali
Electrician Apprentice
Ali Quinn was born and raised in the beautiful mountain town of Sandpoint, Idaho, where a love for the outdoors came naturally. A first-year apprentice, Ali is passionate about learning new skills and building a strong foundation for a hands-on career. When not working, Ali can be found skiing in the winter, mountain biking in the summer, or spending time with two loyal dogs who are always up for an adventure. Whether on the slopes, the trails, or just relaxing at home, Ali embraces an active lifestyle rooted in Idaho’s rugged landscape and tight-knit community.
